Okay so lets speak to the public now...
Here is the screenshot, i asked the seller if its in working/good condition... his response was his paypal info, so i asked one more time to confirm that its in working/good condition and got a yes. Now i have a jb4 right now so the chips not for me, and i told the seller that it was a gift for my buddy and now i have a jb+ with no sticker on it... it would have been nice when i asked him not once but twice to mention the sticker is missing or even in his selling thread. Now put urself in my shoes and you bought a chip and asked twice if anything is possibly wrong with it and you get a NO, but in the mail comes a chip with no sticker and now i gotta give that as a gift to my buddy? |

Ok i guess im the jury here; u said working/good condition. A sticker is hardly a material term/condition of a tune. I'd say you got a fully operational chip with a cosmetic issue..that's not perfect but it is working/good condition. Your buddy is gonna be stoked either way cause his car's gonna be faster..and just as fast as if it had a sticker. Heck i'd bet someone like terry'd throw one in a bag for u if u just ask.

if the sticker is such a big deal, why didn't you specifically ask if it had the sticker or not? I wouldn't consider having or not having a sticker, enough to consider something in poor condition, so IMO the seller did nothing wrong here
specially since I think it fair to assume, this sticker deals w/ some type of warranty and most warranties are void when resold anyways and if they are loose enough w/ their policies to allow for second hand units, they are prob not gonna care about a sticker either |

Thanks everyone for the reassurance.
If he specifically asked if there was a sticker I would have stated no. I was only asked if it was in working/good condition and it is as per my post and message to the buyer. |

If it was my chip i wouldnt give a ratsass about it cause i know its gonna be under my hood, but again it would have been nice for him to state that the chip had no sticker labeling on it cause i would have not bought the chip in that case, because i dont feel comfortable giving my friend a chip with no freakin sticker on it... making it look like junk i just picked up and gave to him... ill try and ask terry for one and see what he says

Wow this must be one hell of a sticker. Must add 100HP to the damn thing. Open It up and look at the inside if its legit then go print off a picture of the sticker and glue it to it if your that worried about it. Problem solved. Seller did nothing wront.

When you buy something used, and you don`t ask the question - you can`t come back later and demand a refund. If the sticker was important, you ask up front. The seller did not misrepresent the product, so if it is in working condition, you got what you paid for. I side for the seller.

If the sticker was such a big deal (or the appearance of the product in any way) I would've asked for a photo or two before making the purchase.
I'd say you were sold a product as advertised. And your buddy should be thankful you purchased this for him. Maybe you should have just purchased one new since it's for a friend? |

If you want something to be in perfect shape buy it new. Otherwise, ask the right questions and get a picture. The sticker doesn't affect the device's functioning, and the fact that you wanted $25 back is ridiculous. What? Your friend would be happier knowing you got an even better deal on his used gift? OBVIOUSLY you are just one of those people to try and nickel and dime an honest seller after you get it. I probably speak for a lot of people when I say that I wouldn't sell a damn thing to you...

I would put it this way, seller does have the responsibility to stat what parts are missing if there are any. BUT, the sticker doesn't really affect the "used" product ability. Buyer have the authority to ask any request on photo, used timeline and how many owner it has been goes through...etc. But, if buyer (in this case) have not request any other info, it would be hard for the seller to tell you how much dust are on the chips without specific request. IMO $25 would be a little too much for a sticker, but value are hard to judge to others. OP, have you asked BMS how much or would they sell the sticker separately? This method would be a favor IMO, not a must do. But to make the transaction smoother. Kcc
