Week 41 Production

Does anyone else have a week 41 production for a U.S. bound car? Has anyone with a recent production week seen their vehicle head into production? I read a few weeks ago that production may have been a week or two early, but was curious if that trend has continued for more recent weeks.

I'm week 38 and as of last week, my dealer said my car was still showing as "Scheduled for Production".

Week 38 started this week, so who knows......

It looks as if the US cars are being moved on whereas the UK cars aren't. My car is scheduled to be at my dealer the week commencing 10th October

I'm week 41. Hopefully there will be some movement very soon because I need to be in 112 to get my PCD scheduled!!

I am week 38 and the website showed the move to production last Friday morning. 1800 still says awaiting product date. I think they may arrange US bound 1M's production dates to better fill out the ship, depending on West or East coast port destination, and this may be why some went into production ahead of schedule while others are merely on-time. Just a thought, though.

Hmmm interesting! I was last contacted by my dealer on Thursday last week so my car might also have "moved to production" now if this happened for you on the Friday....

Although the wait has been long, I do keep telling myself that worst case, I'll have my car in around 3 weeks. When I say it like that, it doesn't seem so bad

I'm a 41 also. As far as I can tell from the Week 39 thread it appears some builds are occuring a week or two early.

Nice....forward progress is always good. This wait sucks...like staring at the phone waiting for it to ring. I think mine changed color as it moved into 112.

My dealer just told me that my car will be going into production next week

I'm a week 38 build apparently but that now appears to have moved to week 39. I'm told that I should expect a three week wait after my build week, so I'm probably looking at the end of October before my car comes.

That is almost 5 months after ordering it. Seriously thinking about cancelling my order now.....really fed up with waiting and I might just look at something else.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

Ahh, come on Chris. Just wait it out man, as it only amounts to a couple more weeks. Plus, he may be estimating conservatively.

True Mike, I was just venting.

It is frustrating though when you're told week 38 and find out it's delayed even further.

It'll probably turn up next week hehe.

Definitely the ride for nearly everyone getting their 1M has been rocky... but it's worth it.. it definitely is.

Don't do it bro!! That's like being in first place in a race and then stopping right before the finish line....My car just finished production and is now waiting to board a ship at the port (hopefully already boarded the one leaving this week). I have been waiting 7 months and may have to wait longer after it arrives stateside for my PCD date which may be a month later. Maybe that'll make you feel better lol...
