iPhone 4S and Cradle p/n 84212199390

I upgraded to the 4S from my 2+ year old 3 GS; now I need to replace the cradle that I used with the 3GS.

Anyone have an iPhone 4S and using the iPhone 4 cradle p/n 84212199390 which is for cars with SmarPhone integration (BMWAssist, BlueTooth and 6NF option)? If so, is the 4S and iOS5 working OK with it?

I have had the 4 and now have a 4S. Both of them worked perfectly with my car and the phone integration kit. I average 2 bars better signal when the phone is in the cradle.

Sweet! Yes, I find the Y-cable works OK for music output, but the phone quality isn't the same as when the 3GS was in the cradle. Will order a new cradle tonight.

Hi guys will the cradle allow a phone with a case ? or does it have to be a phone without a case ?

No, need to take it out of the case, but the integration --if you ordered the Smartphone integration-- is sweet: address book for phone and iDrive navigation (if you have it), voice dialing, and more. Just bought cradle for iPhone 4S and works flawlessly.
