128i 1/4 mile
I decided to take my 08 128i to the track with my friend today. We usually just take his 08 335xi that he has done some work to. I was surprised that my automatic got what it did. Check out the slip. I attribute the reaction time to the drag racing game on my iphone, not bad. Couldn't get the picture to rotate for some reason, sorry. I'm car 3319.

Why are people so concerned about RT? It literally has NOTHING to do with your 1/4 time or trap speed.
Good time for a 128 though. There is the ability to get into the low 14s though if you get that 60' down. Put some good tires on and cut a 1.8 or 1.9 and you will see low 14s. |

A turbo charged 1966 VW Beetle. Something happened to it on that run, earlier in the day it ran mid twelves. If you look at his 60 foot he killed me, then I heard a pop and he coasted the rest of the way.

Still the point remains valid that RT has NOTHING to do with the actual 1/4 time or speed. |

Most people only care about, 60Ft Short Times, ET's and Trap Speeds. I personally don't care for the RT and rarely bother checking it. |

Wow, I'm surprised to see that the 128i auto is actually no slouch! I think we just regularly compare it to the 135i, which is considerably faster, and so it makes the 128i look like a sloth.

Nice time. My brother took his x3 3.0si to atco (this is a nice quick track - sea level - cool conditions now) with us once and ran 15.0@91. These BMW inline 6s are pretty stout little runners.
