It is sunk cost - you have already lost that $ regardless of buying the 1M or not. Your overall cost of ownership would actually likely to be less if you changeover to the 1M.

My VO arrived on the ship on Wednesday but it may not be ready until after Easter. 4 days off with no real plans and I may not get the car until the week after and then I am away in Darwin for 8 days. Frustrated.

Thanks, can't wait! All windows need to be done, got a reasonable price from the dealer. I haven't bought any other options from them, I still want to find someone in SA to apply a paint sealant and clear bra. There is a place up the road that uses gtechniq, thought I'd pop in there once

I spent months and months researching and test driving the car I wanted, then I heard about the opening for the 1M and that all went down the drain for a car I haven't driven!

Is the sun protection pack worth it? I'm planning of just having them do the darkest street legal tint (cancer council approved) on all windows.

If you are talking about the comfort glazing that BMW offers from the factory for the back 3 windows, then deffinately worth it.
Black tinted glass will always win hands down over a after market stuck on film. Perfect look around the glass edges surrounding the micro dotting.
