Agreed... most car companies don't consider the consumers desire to change parts like this so it is rarely designed user friendly.

now worries man, your in mildenhall? i was at Lakenheath untill 2010. bought my 135i at mildenhall bmw dealer.

About awhile back, I posted these pics from an ad on ebay.de

They might give you guys some ideas on mod'ing your instrument clusters(kombi). You can search on ebay.de for: "e82 kombi tacho" or Tachoscheibe Tacho or

I saw that. I do really like those faces. Probably really expensive. Not sure if they have mph or not either.

Yup, I'm at Mildenhall and will be for the next 2.5 years. Just got here in January after a 9 year stint at Robins working for Depot. I've had mine since July 2008 and got it in Georgia after my '04 STi.
