I am hoping someone can help me out. Computer died and one at work has no acrobat and I dont have admin rights for download so I can view instructions from 360 tunners.
I cant figure what to do with the three set of wires coming out from the bottom of the headlight. I did research on web but the DIY's I found were for other vehicles. If somone could explain in detail how this part of instal goes I would be very thank ful. Uploaded with ImageShack.us thanks in advance |

Thanks for the fast response. It seems that am a bit confused and pardon my ignorance. Ive never done any type of mod involving electric components. I took another picture and hopefully you can clarify the settings for me. I see the ballast that connects to the bulb and canbus when i connect those to compartment(C) lights dont turn on when testing it. I see another set of cables inside compartment which I lable it (D).
Thanks in advance, Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

How was your experience with 360 tuners? I ordered the lights over a week ago and still don't have a shipping number. They haven't responded to any of my emails.

If I remember right I did not have a tracking number until it arrived, and I had to call them about the order.

Not too bad, about 10 days to NY via UPS ground, pretty standard.

So the nightmare continues. I finally received the lights and took them to my local bimmer tuner shop. They installed the lights only to tell me AFTER they were done that they're going to flicker until I get a cancellation module which they don't carry. So I turn on my lights, they flicker furiously, then shut off. Can anybody help? Will this cancellation module fix my problems? I've been driving around for a week with my parking lights and fogs on.
This is what he told me to order and I did. http://hidcanada.com/store/index.php...products_id=17 |

I'm pretty close to taking everything out and smashing them with a crow bar. Hopefully the module works because I'm going to be all out of options. |

I ordered just the lights then cancelled and got the same package you did from 360 tuners. I've already contacted them but I emailed them 3 times when my package was late and it took a week before somebody got back to me. The problem is I need this fixed right away because I'm driving around with just my parking lights.
Did yours come with this error free module thingy? My experience with 360 tuners has been terrible. I ordered express from HID canada and its local so the module should be here tomorrow or the day after latest. Last edited by Shawn_S; 10-30-2012 at 06:06 PM.. |

So here's some more reasons why you guys can feel sorry for me. I ordered the cancellation module from HID Canada. I paid extra for express post which guarantees delivery in 1-2 days. Of course continuing with the theme of my despair its been 4 days and it's not here yet. So by chance I call some little no name performance shop and ask for help. He tells me to bring my car in. So I get there and he says the module probably won't even work on my car. He says I need new ballasts. So a hundred bucks later he installs two new ballasts and everything works beautifully.
I emailed 360 tuners on Monday and still haven't heard back from them. Thanks for all your help with my questions. |

Very sorry to hear your hassle. Glad you found a solution, and hope 360 honours some kind of discount.
Im very confused with the whole HID retrofit process my self.

As it is stated on their website "Computer-Error Free Xenon System with CAN-BUS Compatible Module*" it has to work accordingly. IF this is what you actually ordered: http://www.360tuners.com/08-10bmwe87...pairblack.aspx

That's exactly what I ordered. A guy from 360 tuners even called to ask me abouty factory light set up before they shipped.
Still haven't heard back from them by the way. One last question about the lights. They work fine now and are nice and bright but they're angled too high and blind other drivers. Is there a way to angle them downwards? |

Halo question
@alvitdk: Assuming you wanted to run the CCFL Halos regardless of whether the lights were on or off, which ignition source might be used?
