Steering wheel trim, paint rubbing off?
Anyone else having this issue? The black rubberized coating on the steering wheel trim piece where I place my left thumb is starting to peel away. I asked the dealer about this thinking it was a warranty issue and they told me it wasn't covered? My service advisor told me it was due to the oils in my skin or other thinngs along that line and that it wasn't covered. I thought that was a pretty shady answer? a new piece installed will run about $245.00!!! WTF!!!

Tischer has them for way cheaper than that. Last I saw $60 for stock. Maybe $110 for M///

That actually looks ok.....I plan on just upgrading it with the Carbon Fiber trim piece, I just need to find one that accepts the ///M decal because I have the ///M steering wheel.
