Does anyone know what this code is? 2E2...

Hello!

I think my HPFP is dying as I have the 29f2 code as well as my car stalling whilst cold starting, limp moding whilst attempting to start up, limp moding accelerating at times and misfires. Waiting to grab a new unit from Stu.

My P3 vent gauge is showing up codes however it has also shown the following code before as well as currently which I'm unable to find information on.

It clearly says 2E2 but the fourth character looks like an = sign which can't be right. Does anyone have any idea what it means?

Cheers!

Alex

Strange code. Looks like all the 2E2_ codes relate to the coils.

Thanks, I might try plug in my Procede to my computer to read what's actually up. Hope it's not coils.

Buying a new HPFP regardless though haha

coils are cheaper then a hpfp and take 30 mins to replace!

As in I'd rather it just be the HPFP only rather than the HPFP AND coils

ahh fair enough!!

My recent misfire/stumbling issues have largely been resolved by changing the coils and spark plugs (even though the plugs were only 6k kays use and 8 months old) but i have the occasional CEL indicating its the pre cat O2 sensors.

I have decided to change them, along with the vanos solenoids I hope after all that my hpfp or injectors don't fail on me!
