Cobb & N55! (Oz specific)

Working with Pete & Gordo, we've successfully flashed an N55 135i with a Cobb tune.

Car is a 05/2010 build, last DME update ~6 months ago.

Car is FBO and on a stage 2 tune, made 240 rwkw.

However there's definitely more in it... the car previously made 250rwkw on a JB4 Map 2 so we'll do a custom tune shortly on the Cobb which should see more power.

Customer's feedback has been very positive so far with reported better fuel economy than with the JB4 and a more 'linear' feel to the engine.

I thought ATR wasn't released for N55s, how are you going to do a custom tune?
I'm thinking about doing this when custom tunes are an option. The car kicks like a mule with the JB4 but it is a little rough around the edges.

i guess they're working on it + trusted dealers get early access maybe?

My old N55 with a Procede and had no FBO did around 240kW on Advan dyno though?

Get the PTF etune custom map for Cobb, or Peter to do a custom tune... Probably yield another 25kW

Last I heard (and I've stopped paying attention lately - for obvious reasons) they only had tunes available for 2010/2011 build cars but some people in the states had bought on on the off chance it would work and it did...

Pot luck on newer cars at the moment...

Email them your VIN mate. I did and they came back saying it would be all good. (That was before the unexpected upgrade. )
