This is my reasoning ; I am ready to buy a full set of staggered ARC-8's in a hyperblack with the correct offsets today. They are sold out of hyperblack. I am considering another finish (race silver or hyper silver) since the right offsets seems to be available. BUT there would need to be a better incentive than just saving on shipping cost for me to buy a set of wheels that are NOT my first choice. If not then I can wait for the next year and pay full price for something that I want at 100%. |

Totally understand where you are coming from. If this doesn't go well and falls through, I'm sure we can all wait a few months and get exactly what we want in a bigger group buy.
I was just on a hunt and seemed like people were interested. Cheers to APEX wheels |

Then I assume that you will just save the domestic cost of shipping of $75, which is the same offer to out-of-country buyers as stated on the front page. But, you'll probably have to pay sales tax that others don't have to pay.
IMO, it seems like it would be best to wait until end of the year if you can. Looking at last year's December deal from Apex, it was $100 off and free shipping. |

Removing myself from the list. Since it's only free shipping, I'm going to keep saving and wait until early next year like I originally planned and hope Apex will sponsor one with tiered discounts like they did earlier this year. Or maybe they'll do some Christmas specials.

No worries, you will be fine with 265s in the rear. I've run 275/35 V12s, and 265/35 R888s. I am purchasing a 2nd set of APEX wheels to run 265/35 AO48. The issues you might have would be upfront. 2in seems pretty low. If you could run a 245/35 it would be no sweat, but you will most likely be looking at a 245/40 and they could be too tall. You could always raise the car slightly (corner weight it if you haven't already) I would expect to run a 3-5mm spacer, I need a 3mm spacer to get the rim of the spring perch. It's a slight draw back to coil overs. Street camber specs are about -1.8 F and -2 rear, track -3ish F about -2.5 R On my R888 set I run 255/35 in the front and 265/35 in the rear. My front ARC-8s are 18x9 E36 rear offsets. It could rub on the outside of the fender w/o a lot of negative camber. Wouldn't recommend this sizing for the street. JUMP INTO THE GROUP-BYE! You won't regret the wheels, light and durable, and you can fit the rubber you want edit. have also run 255/275 Dunlop Star-specs. Rubs slightly under high load in a corner. Corrected with 5mm spacers and fender roll

I think they would ship to an APO, don't see why not. I believe the set is around $1,200 US. I will post some photos...

Sick setup! Fits the 9 offset 42 in the front with a 255! Without any issues of rubbing?? Iam not sure wich specs i will order! Think front the 8.5x18 offset 38 and rear the 9.5x18 offset 52 OR a 9x18offset 42 (linke my current rear wheels) Hard question |

Not sure I would do the front 18x9 for the street unless you plan to roll your fenders and run high -camber. Plus the wheel looks "deeper" than the rear 18x9.5 I'll look for better side shots.
