turner race pedals not flush on brake and clutch is this normal?

Hi, I went to install my Turner Motorsports aluminum race pedals today, but the brake and clutch pedals are not as curved as the car's pedals are, so they rock back and forth. I guess screwing them in would solve this and get rid of the rocking, but that is not what I want to do. Is this normal?

In the picture the pedal is pressed on about in the middle, and you can see the gap on each side. What do you think?

Hm, resurrecting an old thread here, see that nobody replied. What did you end up doing here? I'm looking at pedal sets from Turner/FCP Euro/Schmeidmann, in the interests of making heel/toe a bit easier.

Any pointers/advice?

I just went ahead and installed them like that! They're awesome, 30k miles later and they haven't budged. Heel toe is easier with them than standard or even performance pedals imo

When you ordered them did you also get the dead pedal? I don't see it listed for the E82.

No I didn't. I thought they had a dead pedal listed though iirc.
