Can you really not wax your car for SEVEN year's!?!?
I just saw this on History Channel. I know you really can't believe what you see on tv, but this spot git me thinking... Could you really not wax your car for SEVEN years!?!? I mean, I think I could not go without waxing my car for so long. To me the car washing waxing thing is a weekend ritual of being a car lover petrol-head.
What do you guys think? Maybe Phil from @DetailersDomain will chime in? I always thought OptiCoat was a far better product. ? http://www.simonizprofessional.com/b...?NewsId=409683

100+ years of R&D, something like this was bound to show up. But something like that isn't going to replace washing it and applying other chemicals and detailing to get it that show room shine.

I think I'd go through withdrawal if I couldn't clean car after more than about two weeks.

For some reason, I never thought of Simoniz as being one of those "good" brands.

Just got this on my wife's new car. Usually I wouldn't get talked into it... But it's a black car, so I guess whatever can help? Mostly, I bought it for the warranty. If there is paint issues, bird droppings leave a ring, etc. It's covered for seven years. Interior, too.

I got it on the wife's x3 when we bought last year. Holding up good so far. Had gtechniq put on the 135 last summer and it looks better and beads water much better than the Simioniz. Actually cheaper too.

I remember because his review thread persuaded me to get gtechniq for my glass windows.

What he said. I had the C1 topped with EXO v2. Also had their glass treatment. An added benefit has been my shadow line trim looks brand new. Even after multiple snow/road salt coatings.
