HFS-4 Pre turbo meth injection

I am thinking about setting my HFS-4 system to spray 4 jets total into my N54 135i. Two pre turbo (tap one jet into each of my injen intake pipes) and two in the charge pipe. Has anyone done this and if so what size jets would you recommend? I am thinking about running 2 .7mm and 2 1.0mm, I am FBO with Cobb stage 2+ FMIC. Thanks guys looking forward to everyone's thoughts and or experiences!

There's a thread on N54 tech about someone that did this with E85 (I think). It shows a pretty nice looking setup with an extension through the tip of the intake cone so it sprays right after the filter. Look that up. Might be able to give you some suggestions on nozzle size.

SteveAZ is spraying E85 in the charge pipe, but that's a different ball of wax.

OP talk to Terry over on his forum, he has experimented with pre-turbo meth injection.

I couldn't find the thread. So you haven't herd of anyone doing a 30/70 meth mix pre turbo? I cant believe I can not find anyone doing it yet?? Or at least tried it, one would assume it would lower temps far more by having the jet as far away from the TB to ensure complete atomization..

as soon as it passes through the turbo it would just as warm as the air that is forced through there... I would assume no one is doing it because it doesn't make sense to do it that way. Do it just before the intercooler if you want more time for atomization.

Agreed, though I have no first hand experience spraying pre-turbo. Seems like a good deal of risk for minimal benefit, the small size of the stock housings and wheels = HEAT.

Tap the intercooler for best atomization, though ideally we'd all be spraying direct port or something along those lines. That's in the works...
