Glove box light is dim

I recently replaced the bulbs in my car. All of them work fine besides the one in the glove box. It comes on but it is very dim. And by dim I mean I can barely see what's in my glove box while it's on.

I put the bulb in the vanity enclosure and it worked. And I tried the vanity bulb in the glove box but was dim just like the original bulb so I know it's not the bulbs.

what is causing this issue? Is it a fuse?

I would guess the socket wiring doesn't have a good connection
