PROcede v5 on 2013 135is

I've had my 2013 135is for just about a year and have decided to add some mods to the car. I was lucky enough to have my dealer install the M3 rear subframe bushings for free last year due to a delivery issue. I now have all the M3 suspension parts, an e93 M3 FSB and a set of AST 4100 coilovers with Swift springs waiting to go on the car.

To finally get to the point, I have also just bought a used PROcede v5 Rev2.5 from another member and plan to install that on the car. Since my purchase I have found that this does not seem to be the preferred tune for the 135 (idiot lack of upfront research!), but the price was good and I'd like to go ahead and install it as there are some positive reviews out there.

My issue is that I have read conflicting reports as to whether the PROcede will work on a 2013 135 much less the "is" model that has the BMW PPK2 installed with the additional radiator and PPK tune. I emailed Vishnu and received a reply from someone in sales with a terse note saying that the unit will not work on a 2013 as the communication network is different (whatever that means!). However, I have seen at least one member on here with a 2013 135is who is successfully running the PROcede.

Sorry for the long rambling post, but if anyone can offer any further information or advice it would be very much appreciated.

Did you buy the Procede for N54, or N55? Two different engines/ecus, with different connectors. If you bought the N54 Procede then sales is correct, and that model won't work for you.

Long story short it does work but I jumped ship to the JB4 due to lack of support and no E85 support.

Very interesting. I am very interested in the non-JB4 options for the 135is. What sort of hp/torque gains are you expecting? Please keep us updated as you move forward!
