Intake valve cleaning

I haven't been able to find any shops in the area (greenville,sc) that do the walnut blasting. I was wondering if these induction services that use chemicals are comparable to the walnut blasting. Any input would be great appreciated.

There is no other way to clean the intake valves than to remove the intake manifold and clean it manually. Whether that be with chemicals and a brush or walnut blasting. There's no additive that you can pour into your gas tank that will clean the valves. These cars are direct injection so it will never reach the valves. There are some good DIY for walnut blasting though...not too difficult, just time consuming. Like mentioned though, plenty of threads you can find through the search that will give you tons of info.
