135i Convertible Downpipe Install Issue

I can tell you what I did. I had only the front of the car on ramps, and the rear on the ground. I loosened all the bolts together a little at a time and had no trouble getting it off or back on. I don't think there was much pressure (any really) on the brace, and I could have probably completely taken off 1 bolt at a time with no issues. I'm not sure if having the rear up on stands will make a difference. You can always try slowly loosening all the bolts and see if the brace feel like it is under load. If so, take the back down and try it my way. Good luck!

Success yet? I was honestly surprised at how little the chassis flexed when I was putting it up on stands. Putting the braces back on was really no issue.

Not yet, going to be installing everything in a few weeks. I have the DP, mid pipe and axle backs. The axle back should be here about the second week of sept, they have been on back order.
