DurimOne54 > I don't think you're cell issues are being caused by you're BOV or adjacent/connected vacuum line. Neither the BOV or CP throw cells. The only time you'll get a cell from the CP is if the connecting sensor is not plugged in -- but -- never from the BOV.
To give you some perspective, I've driven with my chargpipe literally blown off for miles -- no cell. Here's another little nugget... Notice anything missing? My FMIC is gone. I drove it about 10 miles yesterday just like that -- no cell. The point is that the FMIC/CP/BOV are all related & connected to each other. Therefore, If my shit is missing parts (LMAO), and I'm driving around town with no error codes -- you're definitely not getting a cell. The issue is elsewhere. Usually, when you start seeing boost under target and slow spooling -- it's related to turbo vacuum leaks. Completely different issue. But you're holding boost just fine. Has to be something else. A code would be nice. What is the error code you're getting? Did you clear the code? Did it come back? Do you have a JB4? Are you logging the car while its throwing the cell? How many miles on your car? Last edited by TUN3D; 09-03-2014 at 12:01 PM.. |

DurimOne54 > I get the 29E0 & 29E1 pretty consistently. Nothing to do with a BOV or any sensor(s). It's your fuel dude. You running E85 or race fuel? Anyways, if you're not running a back-end flash and use E85 or other fuel mixtures you're gonna get these codes. They are benign. Similar to the downpipe codes. Even with a back-end flash, they still might pop-up which means you need to raise or lower the fuel scalar (in the flash) to eradicate them.

I'm running Map 7 via JBA with the E85 Backend Flash and walbro 255lpfp. I run 10 gallons of e85 with 2 gallons of 93 octane. I think the recent mixture was too aggressive leading me to lean out. I've been running this setup for a year now with no issues. I cleared the code so now we will see if it returns |

DurimOne54 > While I've been doing my conversion (relocating the meth tank & pump), I've been running pretty much the same setup.
FBO with E65 and a custom back-end. I also have a 255-inline. Just curious to see if you knew the numbers. I'm guessing low 4's (400-430). MY last 1er with meth was doing 460+. |
