Getting Bumper Repainted... Cost?

I am getting quotes on getting my front bumper repainted and most places are telling me $550 and that is if I take it off myself (which isn't a big deal). Anyone recently have your bumper repainted and if so how much did you pay?

$550 is really steep. I paid $225 for my last car. And they took it off for me.

250 to 300 is about right, anything above go to a shop and say a shop gave you a bid of 350 to do it what would they charge...lol...anyways the bumper is easy to remove.

Keep in mind that the color of your car has something to do with the price. My car is Crimson Red and to get anything painted will cost a lot more than lets say Alpine White, etc. So yeah I paid that much to get my rear bumper painted a year ago..
