Need more powaar!

Hi all,

I currently have an '09 N54 with the following mods:
  • Dinan S2 ECU flash
  • Dinan exhaust
  • BMS Air filters

I am looking for "the next mod" to install, but i'm afraid the Dinan software is limiting. I really don't have any interest in adding a JB4 on top of the Dinan, but what other options would you guys recommend?

Here's a pic of my car for reference

Thanks,
Evan

Love the wheels, sir!

My take... Intercooler and downpipes. Then pick up a used Cobb v2 and get a protune. That's just me though lol

Downpipes and a real tune. You're leaving a lot on the table with the Dinan stuff.

Wow, beautiful car. You aren't gonna gain much unless you go with a different tune and especially meth. I woudn't change tunes, I'd spend money on supporting mods such as downpipes or especially an LSD. Then when you get enough miles that your turbos need replaced (ie 80k), then upgrade to Vargas, etc. That's my plan.

Tune is most important from where you are in terms of bang for buck, then downpipes and intercooler. Then maybe midpipes.

I'm unsure there's anyway to get any resale value back on your investment with the Dinan tune. Maybe someone who is more of an expert on that can chime in. There's really no reason to keep it if you get a different tune. A Cobb AP or other reflash may destroy it, though a JB will not. If nothing else it may be worth checking in so you can sell the car with the Dinan flash. Some buyers may see some value there at least.

Dinan can only make so much power.

JB4 or Cobb to pick up serious gains.

Absolutely amazing looking car IMO.
