List of factory options by year?

Is there a breakdown of packages, options, colors, etc in a year by year fashion somewhere?


The car I'd like to have seems to be something that isn't commonly sold, SGM, manual, nav, black interior, M package.
Just curious if it actually exists or how lucky I'll have to get to find that one.

Graphite was only available during the 2008 MY. MSport was not available in the US that year, so that combination is only available to non-US cars.

The things I won't live W/O are N54, nav, manual trans, and not cream or coral interior and not black exterior.

I searched "factory options" and read most of what looked to be relevant/interesting threads, none had a basic list of options, sans the 1M.

iDrive was added for 2009? I'd like that, and newer brochures also ...

The 'fest used to have order guides for each year. Not sure if it is archived over there, but the order guide is a great reference

Found some of them. Being new to the lingo it took me a bit but like always, I find something else interesting along the way. Never a bad thing.
Looks like bimmerfile is kinda a repository of info. Lots of TSB's and such there.
