For those who bought the BMW extended warranty...

Do they provide a card or some documentation that you have to show at any BMW dealer when you have an issue, or is it just "entered into the system" so that any dealer could pull it up and know that you are covered? I'm curious as to how it is administrated.

It is in their system and I also received a document that i signed for along with a bill of receipt.
This happened two weeks ago to me.

Thanks. I decided to just do it, I have fear of the DCT among other things. Did you get it thru Jeff Steel by chance?
