Bmw 135i convertible 2008 43k miles
So driving to work this morning the car took around 20minutes before it started to warm up. I'm thinking this could be the thermostat maybe staying open?
It cools down as normal but just seems to take too long to warm up. I've only owned the car since Saturday so 5days in total. I'm not sure of the normal operating warm up time yet. Also wondering what headlights this has, they seem to leave a gap between the top and the wings+bonnet for some reason!?? If anyone can help that would be great. |

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. But i would fight tooth and nail to get the stock headlights back on your car from the seller. Those are cheapo ebay headlights, and the reason anyone would swap the stock xenon headlights for those is beyond me.

Yeap seems my oil temp gauge rarely goes above about 93 (ish) Celsius.
Booting it slightly raises this but then returns to that. |

There is nothing wrong with the car. If the thermostat was jammed open, you would have a "Service Engine Soon" light.
Enjoy your car and stop worrying about it. |

The car has just had the service lights reset manually just before I bought it as he serviced it for me himself.
