Question on manual transmission trim?

I want to do an interior swap with a forum member who has dct. Is his trim interchangeable with mine and vice versa?

I was told no when I asked BMW
Not sure it' couldn't be modified though

I had seen some trim listed on ebay that said "not for NAV but could be modified" ???

It fits. I put the flat black 1M manual trim into my DCT.

The only differences are between iDrive equipped cars and non-equipped I believe. Check ECS since they have pictures of most of the parts in their catalog.
