Help ABS and Traction Control errors lights on dash! CC-ID 24, 236, 354
Last night driving home I got 3 errors pop up on my cluster, one was the ABS symbol (with yellow ABS and BRAKE lights on), and two traction control symbols (with traction control light on). The DTC/DSC are no longer working, pressing the button does nothing. Pulled the codes CC-ID 236 for the ABS error and CC-ID 24 and CC-ID 354 for the traction control symbols. I did some research and some people have replaced a $1,000 DSC hyrdo unit while others just replaced their bald tires and it went away (my rear tires are due for replacement), and some have mentioned wheel speed sensor. Has anyone experienced these errors before and how did they resolve them? Really hoping I don't have to spring for a $1k part
-Update: now Service Engine Soon light is on in cluster and I pulled 1 code from JB4 (2F4F vehicle speed plausibility) Don't know what that means but maybe could do with the wheel speed sensor? DSC 236 Brake and Stability Systems Failure DSC 24 (couldnt find description online) DSC 354 Start Assist Inactive Thanks in advance!

Anyone can help out? It seems this is actually a pretty common occurrence so I'm sure there's others on here who've experienced this.

So after work today I took off the rear wheel speed sensors to check them out. Even though I cant visually tell if they're defective I wanted to see if they were dirty and maybe that could be causing the issue. They were both covered in black dirt so I cleaned them and reinstalled. But the errors are all still there when I turned on the car.
I then did a quick drive to see if the ABS still works, when I slammed the brake pedal to trigger the ABS my front tires would lock and there would be no pulsating in the pedal. I also heard a weird whirring motor sound from the hood the first time I slammed the brakes...i wonder if it really is the ABS pump that's bad I don't know if its related to these problems but for last month or so when braking sometimes the pedal would stick/jam like halfway down the travel. To brake in time I would have to press down harder on the pedal to overcome the sticking/jam (and causing me to sometimes brake hard suddenly when it finally got past the stuck point). I wonder if the sticking pedal is a symptom?

I had those same warning lights come on. Bought a Carly reader and the app for my iPhone to diagnose it. The app told me right front wheel speed sensor was bad. It is only a $40 part if you buy it online. Installed in 30 minutes, cleared fault code with Carly and that fixed it.

I can't say about the cc Id codes. The Carly obd reader checked all systems for faults and the only significant one was the wheel speed sensor. Would hesitate to say you have exactly same problem, but you should connect a diagnostic tool that gives you more info.

I tried a standard OBDII scanner borrowed from Advance Auto but it was only able to read and erase a P0503 'Vehicle Speed Sensor A Erratic' code that was the same code the JB4 had read as 2F4F 'Vehicle Speed Plausibility'. This is the code Service Engine Soon light came on with.

Went to a local BMW shop got the car diagnosed, it was the right rear wheel speed sensor (aka pulse generator). They ordered me the part and I installed it after work in about 30 mins. When I turned on the car the error lights were still on (which I expected) but turned off on their own once I started driving. All the lights and errors are gone and my ABS and DTC are working again!
Funny thing the damn low gas warning light came on with its gong just before the error lights started turning off, kinda ruined my moment of glory
