Rear View Mirror question
Guys,
My manual rear view mirror keeps dropping down and is not staying in a fix position anymore. Anyone know a fix for this without replacing? |

cheapest and easiest IMHO is ebay for a used one. I bought a self dimming with homelink mirror off ebay, the bought the overpriced wiring harness. I put the manual mirror in my M roadster since I am to lazy to send out its leaking mirror for repair.

You might try removing the mirror from the car, then using some "brake clean" to remove the grease from the "ball" joint area. IF that fails I would just buy a new mirror. The manual ones aren't so outrageous as the self dimming ones are.
