E88 different spoiler option
Hey guys!
I'm on to my second e88 and I'm trying to decide what I want to do with the rear end. On my first AW '08 e88 the rear seemed too plain and I wanted to make it more aggressive. I never loved the lip spoilers and I read all about the fitment issues and lack of options for the e88. So I went a different direction (see the pictures)... Well my wife got rear-ended and that car was totaled by the insurance company. Now with my SGM '10 e88 I'm debating if I want to do the same thing again or maybe try custom fitting the M4 lip... Any suggestions??? Opinions on the first spoiler? |

Too much for my taste, but if you decide to do the M4 style - you're in luck(it's out for the E8x platforms)

First one is a bit 'rice'. Might suit the look if you track it often though, especially if it really do generate extra downforce.
The OEM M Performance spoiler for E88 fits perfectly. |

The problem with the m4 lip spoiler is they still don't make a version for the e88. They have tons of spoiler options for e82 but they are sorely lacking for e88.

Last post here(not M4 style) --> http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1084297 It may work... the main difference I'm seeing is the edge of the trunklid where the E82 has a beveled edge vice the E88 having the more abrupt corner. Since most of these spoilers are hollow, you might have luck with making one fit if you like to DIY.

Hey guys. First of all, very nice cars. I've got an E88 myself.
But, those wings I'm not sure of... You guys don't like the clean look without a wing? |

I prefer the total clean look. Specially with the roof down.
I wouldn't go further than the tiniest of lip spoilers.

Here's mine.... Had the lights blacked out Blacked out third tail light was from somewhere online - same w/ the 135is Wrapped the center panel Diffuser straight from China Painted the OE Tailpipes Satin Black Spoiler did not fit on the corners --- I used black foam door seal tape to fill the gaps and it came out pretty clean Notice the Spoiler is notched for the third tail light Diffuser: https://www.amazon.com/MCARCAR-120i-...DNMKW7SX?gQT=2 Spoiler - Gloss Black https://www.ebay.com/itm/33583693378...gaAnqpEALw_wcB |
