Super harrier pose, Ed. I like the B&W processing.

Well done.
Playing with color filters, when converting to B&W, is one thing that is not as widely used as it should be. I usually pick my B&W film emulation first, then immediately start playing with filters, particularly red and yellows. Dave

Ed, what's that growing between the vines?
Great shot, with super color and composition.

Thanks Dave. That is mustard, which is all over wine country and planted as a cover crop. They will soon plow it under, but it comes back every year. They plant mustard as the seeds destroy vine damaging nematodes.

I un-boxed my X-T2 last night, and for lack of a better subject, took a few test shots of my dinner. A soup I made in the crock-pot, V8-Vegetable Beef Soup. It went very well with some of the wine I hauled back on Sunday. I aim to take the new rig out this weekend and give it a better test.

JMG, great shot.
I need to spend more time on the other side of the Rockies. It's not that far away. Dave

How do you like TJs Irish Whiskey? If you're a Irish Whiskey lover, then you have to try "Yellow Spot" someday. A bit difficult to find in the US, but the best I have ever tasted.

It's not bad at all. It's a tad on the sweet side, but utterly drinkable. I will keep my eye out for the Yellow Spot.

I borrowed a friends Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L II to tryout on my Sony camera. Nice lens with good image quality, pleasing bokeh and a very nice build quality.
