Any BMW coding experts in UK?
Hi,
Looking for somebody who may be able to assist with some simple coding (happy to pay). I was going to play myself but the usual stockist of cables is not selling them at present. I am located in Norwich, Norfolk. Steve |

Ditto - I'm in Herts and would also like to find someone who really knows what they are doing...

Acutally Steve, this might be better off in the "UK" section - it isn't really very 1M Engine / Exhaust / Transmission specific

Just out of curiosity, what sort of things would you guys have done? I haven't had anything done before but maybe http://www.bwautorepairs.co.uk/ and http://www.a1bmspecialist.co.uk/ could help you out.

1) Automatic folding mirror enable
2) Video in motion 3) Automatic unlock when key is removed / car is turned off 4) Allow the wipers to complete their cycle after the car is turned off 5) Add instantaneous digital MPG to M cars

Clive I pretty much have all of those on my wish list, didn't think about the wipers though!Doesn't the car unlock when the car is turned off already? I would love the instantaneous digital MPG - I do like to see how fuel efficiently I can drive, now and again!

i have the Carly adapter (gen II) and while I was able to program a few things, it also unprogrammed a few things as well. My car's side view mirrors no longer fold down when I put the car in reverse. Reading back the code for this, it says its active but its not. I'm a little annoyed but my main reason for coding was to turn off the seatbelt chime. That was successful so i'm hesitant to muck with it anymore for fear of unprogramming other things. Does anyone else have this problem.
I was going to have the dealer reprogram all the things that got reset, I hope they don't charge me for these things. |
