On the N55? Go Pure and don't look back.

Stage 1 vs 2 is dictated by your power goals. Stage 1 will put you in the FBO N54 power ballpark (400-450). Stage 2 will put you in the 500-550 whp range.

Thank you my friend. What are the recommended supporting mods? I have FMIC, charge pipe from AA, catless cat-back exhaust, and other goodies in my signature...do I need to do injectors? Fuel pump upgrade? Oil cooler upgrade? Anything?

I'd probably do a stg2/walbro 450 lpfp from fuelit or precision raceworks. Spark plug gap will be important too.

Anything else you can think of? I'm doing a lot of maintenance work soon, gaskets and related hardware, going to add the turbo and some other hoodies while I'm at it, any additional info appreciated

Vacuum lines, check for boost leaks. Change your trans fluid. If you're an auto, a trams cooler could be a good idea, if manual, be prepared for clutch work. Get the pure inlet pipe. Not an expert on the N55 by any means. Maybe someone else will chime in

Do the diverter valve. Much easier to install on the turbo while it's out of the car versus in it.

Definitely nothing short of an E85 mixture. The only way I know of to get 500+ safely on 93 is with big twins (N54) or a single turbo conversion on either engine.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread but I am doing the stage 2 turbo upgrade from pure turbo. I am getting the turbo, and the fuel -it lpfl.

My biggest question is on the tune. I current have the Cobb accessport and I am wondering if I should stack it with the JB4 (I read somewhere on here that someone has a map for this stack?)

But Im also entertaining the idea of having a Cobb tuner just do a dyno-tune for it. I can get a really good price from one of cobbs "platinum" tuners.

Thoughts???

Hey guys one more question. So there is no BEF for stacking Cobb and JB4 for my car's DME. is it possible for me to run the new turbo with just the JB4 while I wait for the MHD tune?? Should only be a few days I believe.

Also, I can't seem to find online where to get the tune? I'm buying a tablet and cable from a friend. And then I saw i need to contact wedge?? Couldn't find wedge in google. Maybe I'm being an idiot and missing it lol
