Video: Installing Transmission Mounts (DIY Guide)
Hey y'all, swapped out my transmission mounts today, and thought I would record it. It's super easy on the E82/E90, and all you need is a 13mm wrench, 13mm socket and ratchet and maybe an E10 E-Torx socket. There's a DIY floating around the forums somewhere, but it didn't have a video, so this should help fill in the blanks. I went with Rogue Engineering's hardened rubber transmission mount option. Going to put some miles on the car before I come to a conclusion, but no real noticeable increase in NVH, at least, so far.
