Is your goal to stay cool in full sessions, during summer heat? Or are you just aiming more time stack style to stay cool for 2 hot laps at a time?

I would prefer to have more than I need. So I would say my goal is to keep oil temp in check for full sessions at an HPDE or half mile event. Having said that, I would like to start with a single cooler set up first. I only go to the track maybe twice a year. One half mile and one hpde.
I was good temp wise at the last half mile event running three or four back to back runs in 95 degree weather at 18psi to redline. I would attribute that to the csf radiator which seems to have helped a lot. I still don’t think I can get through a full hpde session at a stock boost in warmish weather though. |

Mocked up some intercooler ducting. I also shaved a whole bunch of the front end of the OEM shrouding which exposed part of the power steering heat exchanger and the radiator. I'm going to add a flap inside the ducting to direct air to these parts.
You can see in the lower photo that the radiator doesn't come as far down as the radiator fan/shrouding. This void allows for the larger intercoolers offered by some aftermarket manufacturers. I would also think that most of the OEM radiator cooling occurs through the kidney grills as a result. The vent block offs turned out pretty good too. Made them with expanding spray foam from Home Depot and some vaseline on the bumper to keep it from sticking. Will likely cut out and glue on aluminum covers to make them look pretty.

I'm hoping to keep my splitter/canards somewhat tame and use large hoof vents to reduce drag/lift as much as possible

That being said, I would expect a noticeable increase in high speed grip up front with a properly vented hood. No doubt the front end lifts at high speed in OEM trim.

I notched the sides of the radiator shrouding and ran the lines in. I'll be wrapping the lines with foam to fill in the remaining gaps to ensure the majority of the airflow passes through the heat exchangers.

https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-4...6-e46-e82-e9x/ or, if you're running a valve to leave the thermostat open 100% of the time, like the BMS or ADE piece. Don't recommend that unless you're 100% track car, but regardless, still nice to have a thermostat. I'm running the Motiv thermostat delete plate with two -10AN fittings and a remote 185* thermostat. https://www.motivmotorsport.com/prod...mostat-delete/

Made some headway with the car over the winter break.
LA Design New School 80mm fender flares with 19x11 Apex PS7 wheels riding on 305/30R19 tires all around. Can likely fit 325s in there.

Goodbye understeer - holy smokes... I may have to put my e46 build on hold and go 1M body on the E82. Are you running 11in wheels square? I would be so happy with 18x10s.
Have any onboard video from MoSport?

Yessir. 19x11s with 305/30/19s all around. Should grip like hell.
I don't have videos of myself going around mosport. I'll get some this year. |

Unfortunately, no. I only have one in-car video and that's of my dad doing alligator lapping at the small track in mosport. Pretty underwhelming. Haha.
I'll get some this year. Here is a video of a local driver in his all motor 350Z to get a feel for the track. His car is insanely fast at 1:21.9 laps times (Porsche GT3 Platinum Cup cars do 1:18s and IMSA GS Class cars do 1:25s) whereas I'm at a 1:31.X.

Molded the fender flares into the body using a mix of abs plastic pipe and acetone which creates a slurry when mixed and allowed to sit for a few days. After building it up and sanding, I spread on some spot glazing putty to catch any final variations. Lastly, some tremclad gloss black which will have some more work done to it.
Oh... Started wrapping the car with Arlon Red Aluminum vinyl wrap. I'm loving it.

Yessir. The wheel out back is the 135 specific rear fitment 18x9.5 +58mm offset. When I throw on the 19x11 +22mm PS7s, it pretty much fills the whole flare.
Up front is a worn out 305/30/19 Michelin PSS mounted on one of my PS7s. I have two PSS' mounted on PS7s for testing spring perch heights/clearances and fender heights/clearances. New tires will come March/April.

Some more progress. Little bit of IMSA GT class inspiration with the yellow tinted headlights.
Cowl block off came out damn near perfect. Hood wrap job is pretty hack when viewed from 5ft away, though. No big deal, she ain't no show car.
