Corsa w/N55?

Is anyone running Corsa axelback on an N55?
I am assuming it would sound different than N54 due to catless OEM mids...
Only audio clips available are from a 2008...
I absolutely love the tone but want to make sure it will sound just as good or better on a 2012... since it's over $1K for just a muffler.
Anyone care to share a first-hand experience?

N55 will sound better than n54

I have been running the Corsa Axel back for the past year. Sound is great no drone fits perfectly with stock exhaust.

For me it is not loud enough for the track, but everyday driving its great and i love the sound. I did not notice much of a performance gain if any, though that was expected.

BTW I drive a 2012 135i N55.

Here is an in car video at NJMP, mostly wind noise, but it may help.
