2013 135is DCT

Hello everyone,

I tried searching and I can't find a definite answer.

Is it possible to add a Cobb accessport to my 2013 135is with DCT? If not can I use a JB4?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can run a JB4. If you're willing to have the car down for a few days, you can remove the DME and send it to MHD/Twisted Tuning to have it unlocked, allowing you to use their tunes.

These guys are working on a set of cables so you can unlock the DME at home.

Randall told me he was expecting the cables this week, they would test on their own vehicles before releasing to the public.

Dinan tune is pretty popular too and they recently lowered the price. Gives you some peace of mind in some way.

BPC posted about their cables now being available as of last week to flash 12-13 135i through the OBD-II port.

You'd have to ask them that. They are pretty responsive to emails/calls.

Have you DME unlocked and go with MHD. With a JB4 your DME does not report the correct torque value to your TCU. This doesn't matter for manual cars, but the DCT needs to know how much torque the engine is producing for clamping pressure, etc.
