Are stock diverter valves okay for a car running FBO with stock turbos and JB4 map 5?

Or will upgraded diverter valves, such as the forge be necessary in this application? (N54). I know some guys have had some leaking issues with the stock valves, but will this be enough power/boost to cause any issues?

Run the stock DV's and do some logs.

It is always recommended to either upgrade to Forge DV or BOV

What does a leaking DV sound like? serious leaks will trigger code?

If bad enough they will trigger boost leak.

Otherwise they would either need to be pressure tested to really know.

With age and abuse they will eventually leak like any wear item.
