With the height I'm at and me in the driver's seat, the driver's side rear sits down just enough to be right against the fender. I didn't even drive home with my other wheels because we knew they'd make the rubbing worse lol I didn't realize the quarter was THAT thick. it's like half an inch or more. It's not a catastrophe though, simple fix of either camber or a tiny pull. The car is going wide later this year/early next so I'm not really all that concerned as the quarters will be cut.. |

Bald rear Hankook tires, rain and freshly paved huge empty parking lot....yeah i decided to try my hand at drifting!
Started in first and ended up doing a 720 which was a blast! Tried to hold a drift in first but couldn't last more than two seconds before the car corrected itself. Tried again in second gear with the Scandinavian flick with same results. I am able to go sideways but unable to hold it. But I had an amazing time, my body was pumped on adrenaline and I was shaking from excitement! The day prior was dry and I got my fiance's blood rushing by getting a little sideways in second gear. She grabbed the oh shit handle as soon as the traction broke.

I've heard especially fantastic things about the Porterfields.

Does anyone know which E code in INPA to use to code injectors for E88....since E88 or E82 isn't an option....

Also have Akebono. Initial bite isn't there which is no big deal after you get used to it. I think ultimate stopping is about the same as OEM. I've begun to like the more linear feel to braking.

I have the Cool Carbons. Be forewarned they take warming up. The first stop each day when cold they work at 50-60%. After that they are good. They are lower dust but they still turn the silver rims a nasty bronze'ish over time. I'll probably try Akebono next if I can find them for the 135i

I got the EBC's over Cool Carbon S/T Plus pads. Now, I'm eyeing the Porterfield R4-S' big brother, the R-4 as my next track pad (AN ACTUAL RACE PAD ). Cool thing is, the compounds are similar enough between the two that you can reportedly swap the two on the same set of rotors without issue.

Changed the air filter for the first time. Why BMW made it such a convoluted process defies logic.

Hit 45k miles on my way home from work. In a month and 4 days will mark my 1 year anniversary with this car. Now if only I could find a girl that would be as good to me as this car was for this long

You have to remove the air box. Not really a big deal, but it's annoying for a filter.
