Dude, get thee to a bike shop. Start riding. Weight will fall off and you can eat like a normal person.

I should really. Trouble is i get home at 1730hrs, my daughter goes to bed at 1930hrs and i want to see her, then i have to eat, then i have to take dog for walk (our dog walkers dad just committed suicide so i have to walk the dog), so by that point its about 2030hrs. I dont really fancy going to cycle in the middle of pitch black countryside a few degrees above freezing at that time of night. Summer is ok......not now though. Its only for several weeks......... |

Get something like a Wahoo Kickr Snap and join Zwift. Ride indoors at any time. If you really want a quiet trainer, get the Wahoo Kickr Core.
https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2015/06/...ickr-snap.html Zwift works well on AppleTV. Or you can use any old PC or laptop to run it. https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2017/11/...ple-tv-4k.html Riding isn't short-term thing or something you do every now and then. It's a lifestyle change that'll knock weight off and keep it off and it's a lot more enjoyable than a starvation diet. Yo-yo dieting is bad for you.

I hosted Thanksgiving this year. I did a bigger turkey then I would recommend, but it turned out fantastic. This is the best turkey I ever made (or ate).
Brined it, basted it with a butter and herb mix. My sister likes to 'play' with her food, so I attached a pic of an appetizer tray she put together. |

I have been wanting to make stromboli for a couple of weeks, and I finally had a little time to let the dough rise.
I think its a good thing to have in your bag a tricks, you can assemble it and cook it later, its a great appetizer/finger food, and as I found out, it reheats really well. Next time I will be more careful to have the fillings centered after I roll it. |
