New owner here in UK
Hi everyone, I'm now the proud owner of my first ever BMW, a 1M Coupe in Valencia Orange after swapping my 968 Sport & EVO 8 for it.
Love the car, & I find is a good cross between the two cars I gave up. |

Welcome, interested in your comparison between handling, incl steering response, of the 968 (with or without M030 option) and the 1m.

The 1m's steering is almost as quick as the EVO 8, but not quite as direct feeling. I have driven nothing as close to go kart feel as the EVO. |

Really can't see me ever selling this car now. The last of a proper drivers car maybe. |

I noticed mine had an oil service a month before I bought it at Sytner BMW where they used Shell Ultra 0w30 which they now do in all cars. |

It's a 2 year service interval, I have stayed with my local main dealer for each service but I only let them do the oil service so that it gets the main dealer stamp in the service book. I then buy any other required service parts from them at the same time so that all the parts are on the receipt. I then fit everything else including plugs myself.
Drop me a pm with your number and we can plan a meet up. |
