Berk 3" race axleback muffler delete (Cut, good for 128i mod)
This is a Berk 3" race axleback that I bought off another member recently. It's the muffler delete version and was originally painted with the ceramic black coating. It has been sprayed over with some black high temp paint and has some scuffs. The previous owner cut the pipe maybe about 4" short and welded on a 3-bolt flange for his LS-Swapped car. So, it will NOT bolt up to a stock 135i or 128i midpipe as is. However, since the 128i midpipe needs to be cut and welded to fit a 135i exhaust anyway, this is a good candidate for that. You'll need to weld on a few inches of 3" pipe to your 128i midpipe and a 3" 3-bolt flange to adapt to this. Easy job for any exhaust shop. I can include a scrap piece of pipe cut from another 135i exhaust if you want to weld it back on to try and make it fit a 135i midpipe. Price is $50 picked up in South Florida Willing to ship at buyers expense (between $50-80 depending on your location) Last edited by wootloops; 07-07-2022 at 08:50 PM.. |

I've got this one my 128i. I cut about 3" off the back and another inch off the resonator and clamped it on.
This sounds excellent. You may have a little drone but it's honestly makes the car so much fun to drive. You can hear your car much better and it'll let you know when you can get off the gas, which helps with MPG's (Bonus!) I'm not thread jacking, just vouching for this set-up. |
