Tension strut removal
I'm trying to get to my center support bearing and am stuck at square 1.
I can't get the tension strut off, unlike the other posts here I had no issue getting the T50 torx screws it's the 18 mm bolts that I can't get off Looking at the attached images, it's item #1 that I can't get off. The bolt is spinning with the nut on the inside of the bar and I don't have anything that fits in there to hold the nut in place. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried an 18mm box end wrench on it? You have this posted in the engine section and would probably get more responses in the suspension & chassis section.

Thanks for the reply, I think that might work. And I'll check with the suspension and chassis section too; I had drive shaft in mind when I posted, which led me to this section

If you don’t have anything that’ll wedge between the nut and the upright.. go grab a stick from the back yard and jam it in there. Hold it while you blast it w the impact.. Can’t be too tight since it’s all spinning, you’ll be fine.
