e92 m3 front swaybar compatibility with Australian e82 125i
Hi all,
Recently I tried to fit a 27mm whiteline front swaybar to my Australian 2011 e82 125i. It didn't fit - the bar contacted the electric power steering (EPS) motor. I was wondering if anyone had tried fitting an e92 or e93 m3 front swaybar to the 1 series with EPS and whether or not they had fitment issues. I can't seem to find an answer on the internet. Thanks in advance! Simon |

I used the E93 M3 front bar. No fitment issues however my '10 E82 128i has hydraulic steering so I don't know if that's a factor. Surely a local BMW shop or club would be able to help with that.

Getting a stiffer front will just give you more understeer, it's a silly upgrade unless youre getting the rear done as well.
Most 1s have hydraulic steering so most will likely not fit. |
