Interested to hear how you feel about the 135 after a few months of ownership. I went from a 335 to a 128 (albeit with a few years in between) and haven't looked back, and you seemed pretty sold on staying NA. I hope it works out for you.
And huge shame about the 128. I'm glad my son is only six, haha. I'm hoping I can make our old V70 last until he's driving age. Perfect teenager car. |

My wife wanted me to look at the 335.....and I did briefly....too big more of a GT car. We have a 2011 N52 528 that I do enjoy but it is not sporty. Love the ZF 8 speed.... Will be interesting!!!

Pulling up an old thread to reminisce...
Just an update.... Still driving the 128i Sport. I'll never sell it. Added a Porsche Cayman 2.9 Base manual to the fleet. Son the wrecked my Ti Koral car is a true gear head...works, mods and enjoys cars. We had him a used X5 N52 that a guy turned left in front of and totalled. With the settlement he got a used LR4 HSE that he put nearly 100000 miles on. He got himself a great job selling, designing and project management high end home theatre and home automation systems and bought used S7....what a beast. Sold it when he got offered a deal on a Range Rover Autobiography fully loaded that he couldn't pass up. Nothing like 80% depreciation on a car that stickered at over $180000 new to tempt someone. But his LR4 experience make him think he can deal with this. Time flies when you are having fun!!!
