I have those paddles from Nelson Racing, they are ok but don't feel as good as the M2 setup. They are too close to the stalks when shifting from the middle and don't always engage/shift when using from the top of the paddle.

If anyone is still looking into this, I wanted to let you know that I went ahead and made a video about this retrofit, in case you want to see how it's done before taking your stuff apart.

I must be the only one really liking the stock paddles design. So much I fitted these to my E36 M3 SMG back in 2017, long before I had the 135i. (which is less than 2 months)
Anyways, since all these basically use the same base mount, there are more options to choose from. ![]() ![]() ![]() Now if only these would have the same base. The only ones that have the + and - with backlights. ![]()
