2F30: Charge Air Temperature Sensor

Hi all, I've recently been having this strange issue with my 08' 135i.

During normal drives, car will randomly flash the half engine (limp mode) light, which then goes off after 2 seconds. Throughout this the car drives completely normal and there is no loss of power (typical of what limp mode does).

When scanning codes, I got a 2F30 code: Charge air temperature sensor. I did some trouble shooting,

(a) Replaced both the Charge air temperature sensor and the one on the intake manifold

(b) Completely unpaired my cobbs accessport so car is in stock configuration.

I had applied these fixes according to some other forum posts which suggested the issue lay within the TMAP sensor on the Charge pipe and/ or the tune, both of which seem to have been eliminated. Any ideas what I should do for next steps?
