Well well well, 5 months later I finally got my nuts.
Now need to get me a 14/18mm torque socket. Just wondering, since there is an access hole on the scuttle panel, does this imply the bars can be removed, without having to completely remove it? Seems a bit tight.

It IS tight. I don't believe theres anywhere for the hardware fasteners to go if you drop them in there though. https://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=968557

I now understand what you said.
Not an option for me. The whole point is that the nut has the sleeve that goes into the mount's holes, to keep in in place. Maybe the clamping force alone is enough. No idea how much leverage there is with flex, that is routed through the rods and into the strutmount. That it coule even change camber/caster.

Clamping force has seemed to be enough for my use case though.

I just forgot something...is there any thread sticking out from the mount? That's also what the sleeve is for, so it can engage more thread.

Now while these will physically work, they are too high and will prevent the nice cover caps to sit too high and not clip in place. I'm happy, although I also ran into the same problem with the bolts (or actually the studs) fouling the underside of the cowl. So I might take a dremel and grind down the piece sticking out above the nut. I wonder if this how the 1M one is finished off. I do a cowl p/n cross reference to see if maybe the 1M uses a special one, with more room to spare, but it's the exact same p/n.
