Apex 5 Spoke Design Survey

We’re back to gather more information on a potential new design. The 5 spoke design we showcased in earlier surveys proved popular enough to be considered for further development. We’ve refined a few features and want to get more feedback from the community about this wheel specifically around finishes, fitments and chassis. If you’re interested in providing feedback about this design, please take a moment to complete this survey.

In addition to the bare wheel renders included in the survey, we’ve also rendered the design on the E46 M3 you see above. The wheels showcased above are profile 3 and on the more concave end of the spectrum. Profile 3 fitments are more commonly seen on BMW M models that need wider wheels with relatively low offsets.

This second image, while not a BMW, does a great job of showing off a profile 2 version of the wheel on a 2nd gen BRZ. This less aggressive profile would be more commonly seen on Non-M 3 series models in fitments like 18x9 ET30 or 18x9.5 ET35.

I have quite the itch to consoom product. Are the EC-7 in Race Silver 18x8.5 ET 45 being restocked soon? I need to replace tires badly and I want to upgrade wheels rather than put more tires on the stockers. Thanks to whoever at Apex may see this.

It looks like we should have those EC-7's readily available soon as they have an ETA of early May this year. You can still purchase through the backorder so when those wheels are readily available, they ship to you ASAP. Otherwise, we also have the 18x8.5 ET35 in Race Silver available. in stock.

We have quite a few options for both the 18s and 19s for the ARC-8RT. We offer these wheels in OEM+ fitments as well as something that is going to be flush and aggressive.

I would recommend looking at our fitment guide here:

https://apexwheels.com/fitment-guide...-fitment-guide

This is going to show you all the available fitments for the ARC-8RT that we have. The gallery can also be a great tool to use to give you the visual of what the fitment you are interested may look like.

Thanks!

Introducing Two All-New Forged Designs

The ML-7RT and SL-12RT are the latest wheels to join our Forged Touring line. Both of these wheels represent an exciting new step in our product offering and combine striking aesthetic characteristics with the Real Performance features BMW enthusiasts have come to expect from Apex wheels.

ML-7RT

Our exploration of lipped wheel design didn’t end with the ML-10RT. In search of a new design direction, we reimagined the iconic face of the EC-7 and EC-7RS within the outer lip geometry of the ML-10RT. The result is a seamless fusion. By pairing the EC-7RS-inspired face with the ML-10RT’s revised outer lip structure, we created an all-new wheel that preserves the aggressive, lipped mesh aesthetic—now with a cleaner, more streamlined face and a more purposeful outer lip. The ML-7RT is a natural fit for European sports cars, blending a timeless motorsport-inspired design with the advantages of modern forging technology.

Want to learn more about this new take on our classic EC-7RS? Head over to our ML-7RT Blog article here or check out the introduction video embedded above.

Meet the ML-7RT

In terms of ML-7RT fitments, a limited initial range of sizes will be available:

The wheel finishes available at launch include Machined lip Anthracite, Machined Lip Gloss Motorsport Gold, and Machined Lip Race silver. Note that 5x112 fitments will only be available in Gold and Silver.
This is a curated offering that targets a number of 5x112 and 5x120 bolt pattern BMWs including M and non-M models. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Our engineers are working on more fitments & finishes every day. Please use our Request Form to let us know what you want to see, and we'll notify you if it's released!

SL-12RT

As a Touring Line wheel, the SL-12RT’s design showcases a more muscular, expressive aesthetic, blending the stepped-lip geometry of the ML-7RT with twelve straight spokes. It’s a look that gives this wheel a muscular presence that’s distinct from the more complex styles of the ML-10RT and ML-7RT. Bold looks, backed by even bolder engineering and strength make the SL-12RT an ideal wheel for high-horsepower builds and aggressive driving.

Want to learn more about this fresh lipped 12-spoke design? Head over to our ML-7RT Blog article here or check out the introduction video embedded above.

Meet the SL-12RT

When it comes to SL-12RT fitments, again, a limited initial range of sizes will be available:

The wheel finishes available at launch include Machined lip Anthracite, Machined Lip Race silver, and a first for our lipped wheels, Fully painted Satin Black:

This limited offering again targets a number of 5x112 and 5x120 bolt pattern BMWs. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Our engineers are working on more fitments & finishes every day. Please use our Request Form to let us know what you want to see, and we'll notify you if it's released!

All New ML-7RT & SL-12RT Photography

While Real Performance has been a key focus of our engineering team throughout the process of developing both of these new wheel designs, an undeniable part of the appeal of those wheels are their aesthetics. We can’t wait to share the new galleries of these wheels on various BMWs with you. We’ve already shot a number of cars on these wheels and will be adding more in the future. Head over to our Gallery pages to see these wheels on a range of BMWs.
