Black out grill with SGM??
Whats everyones thoughts on having black out grills with Graphite Metallic (SGM)?
They have a NICE contrast on alpine white and on montego. Just not sure about SGM. Plus the ONLY chrome is on the grills and seems somewhat out of place (if you have the sport package). Do you think they would blend in too much with the SGM? :iono: Thoughts and opinoins appreciated |

Might look good
I don't have Photoshop, but here's a quick 'n' dirty attempt to represent a SGM with a black-chrome grill. Looks nicely nasty, I suppose.
You'd want to have the gloss effect for some shine, like the Shadowline trim or the exhaust tips. Those look good with SGM, so why not the grill, too?

I got an SGM on order and got to see the shadowline grill in person on a white 135. I think it would work really well with our color. Its the first mod I plan on doing besides window tinting and some small things.

roadburn, thanks for the pic. The grill is a BMW part and they call it a Shadowline grill. So I suspect that the grill will match the shadowline trim on the sport package.
malves85, please post pics once you get the car and install the grill. Can't wait to see it. |

Shadowline grill should have come with the sport package. It's a match made in heaven. However, would be boring I guess if they all looked like mine (well, my car gets built next week anyway).
