And I will be there too (171cm athletic frame (!!) and very bald, yet fashionable head) and accompanied by my tall, very smiley, red haired partner.

I'd be there tonight but I'm off to see Indiana Jones. I gotta see new movies the day they open cos I hate reading reviews before I see the movie!
Will be test driving the car tomorrow, though! |

Thought this was a good event. Good sample of cars available. Liked the quick rev of the M5 too out in the garage for all those there to witness it. Had a sit in the black 135i, maaaaaan, i can't wait to drive mine.

Took a Sedona Red 135i for a test drive today.
Hard to check it's real grunt with most of the drive being up the Mitchell Freeway. The car was, to be honest, not much unlike my 130i except it was a manual. I remembered how much I really enjoy the Steptronic. Admittedly it was a bit tight as it was brand new. I've been given my VIN so I guess my car is sitting at the docks waiting for the slow boat to Oz. It's only when I get to open up those twin turbos in my own car that I'll really get to appreciate it. |

Who did you deal with @ autoclassic amk2912? Remember you saying your last saleman had recently left? Did you end up speaking to Tristan?

Auto Classic...hmmm. I will tell the tale again as it's ongoing. 7th July last year I gave AC my $3000 deposit and waited and waited. It arrived on the Tortugas on the 14th and I watched it get driven off the boat. Today, I have been promised my car at 5pm on Wednesday 28th May. That is a full two weeks after it arrived in Oz. I have had nothing but excuses from the sales staff but quite clearly being a monopoly provider of a beautiful product in a high demand and wealthy state generates a certain amount of disdain for the concept of customer service. I'd strongly recommend anyone in WA to buy out od State where the dealers are hungrier...and quicker.
