So when your order gets to status 112 you should get the VIN? My SA told me that my order was at the 112 status but he only gave me a production number. When I use that production number on BMWcircle it shows up as a 2005 X3 SAV. Is there something wrong here? Or do the production numbers not show up right on the website?
Thanks, Brandon |

Looking at the owner's circle or on the 800 number, where exactly are yall seeing the status number that your car is on?

The Owner's Circle does not have the status your car is in (the old system may have had that information). Also the Online Owner's Circle is days behind the automated system at the 1800 number. Look at the sticky on Ordering in this forum.
If you want to know what production code you are in you will either have to ask your CA (Customer Advisor) or call the automated 1800 number and after hearing your status ask for a customer representative and ask them what the production code is. I believe they can provide the code up until it is on a boat and then your CA is the only one that can help, though I believe if pressed BMWNA could get the information as well. Hope this helps.

Production Number gives me some other old vehicle?
I just came from the dealer and confirmed my order.
My order has been only in the system for 2 days. I got a Production number, but when entered in owner's circle I get some 2005 330ci vehicle. Why does an old vehicle come up, shouldn't it be some other allocated 1 Series? It must take a week or more until the system catches up right? |

This is normal. BMW reuses Production numbers. Give it until Monday and it should be updated. As many have said before, I would rely on the 800# for the most up-to-date status. If you call the 800# and enter your production number, if it is valid, you will receive a status. Good Luck, as this is just the start of the anguish as you wait for your car to be built, shipped, and finally in your driveway.

How long will it be now ?
The 800 number says my car was released to the carrier for export. Anyone know how long it will take to get into to my greedy little hands now ?

Depending on when you actually get on a ship, probably another 4-5 weeks at best. Mine was released sometime around 10-11 Oct, made it on a ship 16 Oct, and ports tomorrow Still has to clear customs and prep center, so it'll be another week or two before I can actually pick it up. The waiting sucks, but good luck!

My 2013 135i is in 112 status and the production # is 6683274...logged in on the owner site so I am just waiting on a VIN# and a delivery in later October (I hope)!
